Contraindications
Please note that if any of the following apply to you, you must inform the provider before moving forward, or possible risks could occur.
- Pregnancy
- Actively infected or inflamed skin
- Present skin irritation
- If cystic acne is present, microneedling cannot be performed in that area (can work around the area)
- Keloid scars
- Allergies to topical anesthetic such as lidocaine
- Sunburned skin
- If experiencing flare ups due to cold sores or herpes, it is best to reframe from performing treatments till after they are healed
- If you have an existing heart condition, a doctors note may be required
