FIRST 24 HOURS:
- A healing ointment will be applied to the brows immediately after procedure.
- DO NOT get the brows wet for 24 hours.
DAY 2-7 (AM & PM):
- Use a gentle cleanser with no active ingredients in the brow area (Cerave/Cetaphil are excellent choices) every morning and evening for the next 7 days to clean the brows.
- Gently pat the brows while cleansing (DO NOT rub). Then pat dry with clean towel.
- Use ointment only after brows have been cleansed. A tiny amount should be used. The brows need to be able to breath and heal. Using the ointment in excess can lead to infection and/or poor retention. (You will not finish the packet of ointment during your after care.)
Your brows will go through different stages of healing. In the early healing stages, your brows may appear dark and bold (this will eventually fade into a more natural color). After a few days your brows may start to look patchy as the skin is healing, this is normal. It is also normal to experience days where it appears the pigment is gone- it will eventually resurface.
Although after care lasts for only 7 days, your skin will continue to heal anywhere from 4-6 weeks after your session. If you have not scheduled your touch up already, this is the time to do so.
If you have any questions, never hesitate to call. Enjoy your new brows!
