To prevent excess bleeding and poor color retention:
- Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before your procedure (do not drink alcohol excessively 48 hours before)
- Do not consume caffeine 12 hours before
- Do not take blood thinners (such as Advil or Ibuprofen) *Note ingesting Vitamin E or Fish Oil can thin the blood too- stop these 1 week before procedure.
Prepping the skin before PMU:
- Do not tweeze, wax or perform hair removal on the brows 3-5 days before the procedure
- Avoid tanning the week of the procedure (if your skin is badly sunburned, we will not be able to perform the procedure)
- Do not receive chemical peels or intensive skin procedures 2 weeks before the procedure
- Do not work out the day of the procedure
- Do not have botox 3 weeks prior to the procedure
- Do not tint brows 3 days prior
